Everybody knows the ole' story about a knight in shining armor. Knights are very honorable (usually), and go out of their way to help defend others. They are masters of melee combat, and also know how to handle heavier armor like mail and plate. They even know how to ride horses and other animals effectively in combat, which cannot be said for many other vocations.
