Their area of effect spells can wreak havoc on the battle field, so be prepared to equip your heat/cold resistance items before facing any! But all their spells aren't just for dealing damage. For example, they also have the ability to soften equipment, like metal armor, so that even low quality materials like a copper blade can cut through hardened steel like butter.
